Bhubaneswar, January 22, 2026: Great news for the women of Odisha! The State Government has officially released the latest tranche of financial assistance under the Subhadra Yojana today. In a special event held at Krushi Shiksha Sadan, Bhubaneswar, approximately 4.57 Lakh women received their direct cash benefits amounting to a total disbursement of ₹250 Crore.

Who Received the Payment Today?
The disbursement on January 22, 2026, is targeted at three specific groups of beneficiaries. It is crucial to understand which category you fall into to know how much money to expect.

How to Check if Money is Credited?
If you haven't received an SMS notification yet, do not worry. Server traffic can delay messages. Follow these steps to verify your credit status:
- Check Bank Balance: Use UPI apps (PhonePe/GPay) or Missed Call Banking to check your ledger balance. Look for a credit of ₹5,000 or ₹10,000 with the narration "DBT" or "Odisha Govt".
- Visit Official Portal: Go to subhadra.odisha.gov.in and use the "Track Status" feature by entering your Aadhaar number.
- Common Service Center (CSC): Visit your nearest Mo Seba Kendra to get a biometric balance enquiry done.

For existing beneficiaries who have already received their earlier installments, the next regular scheduled payments for 2026 remain unchanged:

Today's release (Jan 22) was for specific lists cleared till mid-January. If your application is still under "Pending" verification, you will likely be included in the next batch on March 8, 2026.
3. My status shows "Approved" but money is not in the bank?
Wait for 24-48 hours. DBT transfers sometimes take time to reflect in rural bank accounts. Ensure your bank account is active and not dormant.
4. Is this the 3rd Phase money?
This is a special clearance phase for new and excluded beneficiaries. The official "3rd Installment" for all general beneficiaries is scheduled for March 8, 2026.
