Educational Qualification

• Qualifications for advertised posts are governed by:
  • UP State Universities Act, 1973 and the latest amendments by the UP Government.
  • UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff) Regulations, 2018.
  • UGC amendment letter F.No.9-1/2010(PS/Misc)pt/Vol-II dated October 12, 2021.
  • UP Government order No. Bha.Sa.-42/Sattar-1-2021, Higher Education Section-1, dated October 28, 2021.
• For Assistant Professor posts, applications are invited as per the above UGC and UP Government guidelines.
• Each department has specific subject specialization requirements. Candidates must clearly mention the post, subject, category, and specialization in their application.

Age Limit

• The maximum age for appointment to the advertised posts must not exceed 62 years as on March 1, 2026.
• Age relaxation for reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen) is applicable as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules.
