DSSSB Assistant Manager Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2026 – Selection Process
The selection for DSSSB Recruitment 2026 is made through a Computer Based Test (CBT). There are four different examination schemes depending on the post applied for. The applicable scheme for each post is indicated below.

Negative Marking and Other Exam Rules
- Negative Marking: A deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each wrong MCQ answer of 1 mark.
- Questions in the examination will be bilingual (Hindi and English), except for language papers which will be in the language concerned only.
- DSSSB reserves the right to change/amend the examination scheme before the examination if required.
- There is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of Answer Sheets or Answer Scripts.
- Draft Answer Keys will be displayed on the DSSSB website after the examination. Candidates may submit online objections within the stipulated time. Only online objections will be considered.
- If the examination is held in multiple shifts, marks will be normalised using the "Score Normalisation Based on Deviation Method" formula as per Notice No. 10(271)/Sec.Cell/DSSSB/18/989 dated 11.07.2018.
- Skill Test/Physical Endurance Test/Driving Test/Trade Test may be conducted as per job requirements.

How to Apply for DSSSB Assistant Manager Recruitment 2026 – Step-by-Step Guide
Only online applications will be accepted for DSSSB Recruitment 2026. Applications received by post, by hand, or by email will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected. Follow these steps carefully to apply online:
- Visit the official DSSSB online application portal at https://dsssbonline.nic.in. If you are a new user, complete your one-time registration by clicking the registration link. Note that only one registration is permitted per candidate; multiple registrations will result in cancellation of candidature.
- After registration, log in to the portal using your User ID and password generated during registration. This same login will be used for all future DSSSB examinations without separate registration.
- Read the full Advertisement No. 02/2026 carefully on the official DSSSB website https://dsssb.delhi.gov.in/dsssb-vacancies and confirm your eligibility for the desired post code based on age, educational qualification, and experience as on the cut-off date 28/03/2026.
- Select the relevant post code from Advertisement No. 02/2026 and fill in the online application form carefully. Enter correct details in all fields including name, date of birth, category, qualification, experience and contact information.
- Upload a recent, clear colour photograph with plain white or off-white background showing full face, front view and eyes open. Also upload your signature as required. Applications with blurred or illegible photograph or signature will be rejected.

General Rules and Important Instructions
Candidates applying for DSSSB Assistant Manager Recruitment 2026 should carefully note the following rules:
- Candidature is accepted on a purely provisional basis and is subject to verification of eligibility at a later stage. If any candidate is found ineligible at any point, their candidature will be summarily cancelled.
- Only one online application is permitted per candidate per post code. Multiple applications for the same post will result in rejection of all applications and debarment from Board examinations.
- Copies of supporting documents (e-dossier) will be sought after the examination. If a candidate fails to upload the e-dossier within the given time period, their candidature shall not be considered and no further opportunity will be given.
- Candidates must wear light half-sleeve clothes without large buttons, brooch or badge, with Salwar/Trouser; slippers or sandals with low heels; shoes are not allowed at the examination centre.
