Training Locations - Northern Region Airports
Selected candidates will be posted at various airports, offices and establishments in the Northern Region including: Adampur, Agra, Aligarh, Amritsar, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Bathinda, Bikaner, CATC, Chitrakoot, Dehradun, Farrukhabad, Fursatganj, Gorakhpur, Gwalior, Hindon, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kanpur, Khajuraho, Kishangarh, Kullu, Kushinagar, Leh, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Meerut, Moradabad, Pantnagar, Pathankot, Pithoragarh, Prayagraj, Safdarjung, Shravasti, Shimla, Srinagar, Udaipur, Varanasi, and various offices in New Delhi.
Note: The allocated airport/station/unit will be final. No change in place of training will be entertained at a later stage. Candidates will be posted preferably at locations based on their registration location in the portal.

Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of the following states and Union Territories are eligible to apply:

Age Limit (as on 31 March 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 26 years
- Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other reserved categories is applicable as per Government of India guidelines.
Educational Qualification

Additional Conditions
- Candidates who have already completed or terminated their apprenticeship midway or are currently pursuing apprenticeship in other organizations or AAI with the same qualification level are not eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or job experience for 1 year or more after attaining the essential qualification are not eligible.
- Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered and their application will be rejected.
Selection Process
- Provisional selection is based on percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- In case of equal percentage, date of birth and thereafter date of passing will be used as tiebreaker.
- CGPA will be converted to percentage as per the norms of the concerned Educational Board/University.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification at the establishment office through registered email IDs only.
- Final selection is made after document verification and medical fitness examination.
- Merely attending document verification or medical examination does not guarantee selection as apprentice.
- After document verification and medical fitness, the candidate will be selected and an Apprentice Engagement Letter will be issued.

- Training Duration: 12 months from the date of Contract of Apprenticeship
- After completion of 12 months, the Apprenticeship Contract automatically ceases.
- Any act of indiscipline during the apprenticeship may lead to cancellation of the contract and discontinuation of training.
- No guarantee of employment: AAI has no obligation to offer regular employment to apprentices. Apprentices shall have no right to claim regular employment from AAI.

- Register yourself on the concerned portal (NATS for Graduate/Diploma or NAPS for ITI) before applying. Registration is mandatory.
- Search for the establishment: Airports Authority of India, RHQ NR, New Delhi (NDLSWC000002 on BOAT portal or E05200700101 on NAPS portal).
- Click on the Apply button on the establishment page. Fill in all required details including your discipline, qualification percentage, date of birth, and domicile state.
- Submit the application. After successful submission, the portal will display the message: Successfully applied for the training position. Based on availability, you will be contacted by the establishment.
- Note: Candidates can apply for only one discipline. Applications for more than one discipline will be rejected. No application fee is required.
- Keep your registered email ID active. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination through their registered email ID only. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
Registration Contract
The selected apprentice will have to sign and accept the contract of apprenticeship training at the NATS/NAPS portal of the Board of Apprenticeship Training immediately after joining at AAI. During training, candidates are governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended in 1973 and till date) and the policies/rules of the organization.

- Applications received through any mode other than NATS/NAPS portal will not be considered.
- Reservation for SC/ST, OBC, and EWS as applicable will be followed. In case of non-availability of reserved category candidates, seats will be filled from other reserved or general categories.
- It is the sole responsibility of candidates to get their profile verified from the respective regional Board.
- AAI Management does not take responsibility to reply to candidates for non-selection or non-issuance of call letters.
- If false or incorrect information is found at any stage, the candidature/engagement is liable to be cancelled.
