The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the Centralised Employment Notice CEN No. 05/2025 for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). This notification offers a total of 2569 vacancies across various RRBs and Railway Zones.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the required Engineering Diploma/Degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline from a recognized University or Institute as of the last date of application (30.11.2025). Those awaiting final results are not eligible to apply.

Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be either:
a) A citizen of India, or
b) A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
c) A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, or
d) A person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

Selection Process

The Railway RRB Junior Engineer JE selection process includes the following stages:

1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I)
2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II)
Document Verification (DV)
Medical Examination (ME)

Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Medical Standards

Standard	Vision Requirements
A-3	6/9 both eyes, must pass color and night vision tests
B-1	6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses, must pass color vision
C-1	6/12, 6/18 with or without glasses, near vision 0.6, 0.6
