The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani has officially released the HTET 2025 Information Bulletin and started the online application process for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for Level-1, Level-2 and Level-3 teaching eligibility. As per the official notification, the last date to apply online for HTET 2025 is 04 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria For HTET 2025

Eligibility varies according to the teaching level. Candidates must fulfill the minimum educational qualifications prescribed for each level as mentioned in the Information Bulletin.

Level-Wise Educational Qualification

Level 1 – Primary Teacher (PRT)

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or equivalent qualifications as recognized by NCTE.

Level 2 – Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Subject-specific eligibility applies for TGT subjects including Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi and Urdu.

Level 3 – Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

Post Graduation in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). Subject-wise eligibility is prescribed for PGT subjects such as Hindi, English, Political Science, Geography, History, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Commerce, Computer Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts and others.

Nature Of Questions

All questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There is no negative marking. The questions are based on Child Development & Pedagogy, Language, General Studies and subject-specific content depending on the level.

Question papers will be bilingual (Hindi and English) except for language subjects.

HTET Certificate Validity & Attempts

• HTET qualifying certificate is valid for lifetime.

Mode Of Examination

Special Provisions For Differently Abled Candidates

Candidates with benchmark disabilities are eligible for compensatory time of 50 minutes per paper. Scribe facility is permitted as per Government of India guidelines.
